elf haul/review part 2

hello again! Its a Saturday afternoon I'm home alone and bored so I thought IT'S BLOGGING TIME! so this is part two of my 'elf haul/review' and this half is a lot longer so I'm not going to go into quite as much detail because I'm a slow typer and no-one wants to read pages and pages. oh also I am giving away some little things if anyone wants them so carry on reading for details!

As I said in my previous post because I spent over 15 pounds I got some free things! I don't know about anyone else but LOVE getting free things that's why I love elf because they always have offers deal and freebies going on so yeah that's good but anyway this is another thing I got free its the studio range cream eyeliner in the shade 'metallic olive' I normally hate cream eyeliner with a passion because I just cannot do it it just is all thing and hard to use and arrggh...but this i love its really really easy to use and its a great colour for my skin because it doesn't look really black against my pale skin, on the website the swatched colour looks really green but thrust me its not that green its a darkish brown with a hint of green. Elf is known for its bad colour match on the website but I still love elf.

As you can see in the picture above the picture above this writing it came with a little black brush which is okay, I mean its not bad it just doesn't give the thinnest line it could do if that makes any sense! So I decided to use this brush its the 17 eyeliner brush from boots. To be honest this brush isn't amazing either but its better than the free one because it give a thinner line.

This picture is just to show that you can achieve dark and thick or lighter and slim depending on how much you put on the bristles! I would defiantly repurchase this eyeliner but I don't think it will be running out soon, it was only 3.75 pounds and its better than my mums maxfacter one in my opinion!

I dont actually know why on earth I got this. I didn't even know what it was I just went for it! I was only 1 pound off until I would get something free and it actually took me about half  just to decide what to spend my last bit of money on and I seriously don't know why I went into a bit of a melt down and then I just got so hyper and I just couldn't stop laughing, my friend Lauren was sat with me and she was getting so irritated and I was like "I will get blusher, no I don't want blusher HAHAHA" I don't know what was wrong with me so I just clicked on this and I thought I'm oily skinned so got this. I thought it was like a face mask or face sheet that you leave on your face for a minute each day and it degreases you but it turns out its just lots of squares of tracing paper that you just dab on your face through out the day when you feel greasy there isn't even powder on them or anything its just paper so it feels like your rubbing your makeup off! I don't like this product I wouldn't buy it again. If anybody wants these please comment below and give your email and I will contact and happily send them to you!

Right so another thing I got free is these shimmer sheets in 'pearl'. I don't really know what to say about these I don't really like them to be honest because they are hard to apply and even when you do put it on its just sooo shiny its not highlighting its more glittery in a way so I tried applying with a brush instead but then it didn't show up! So sorry elf I do not like these! Again if anyone wants these comment below and leave your email so I can comment and send them to you!

this is just what it looks like on my finger sorry about my chipped nail varnish!

The next two things I bought were the 'studio matte lip colour' thing in shade 'natural' and 'coral'. I bought these because I was watching Becca's videos on you tube and she really recommended these (her videos are great I will link her channel at the bottom). I do like these but the only problem is even though it is says matte in the name there just a bit too matte like you can't rub your lips together easily they are not creamy at all I prefer a creamy lipstick but they are still good

This is what they looked like swatched on my wrist the one the bottom is 'coral' and above that is 'natural'

This is what the shade 'natural' looks like on my lips it is a bit plain but I suppose its supposed to be natural so yeah I'm liking it for school and that sort of thang

This is what 'coral' looks like on my lips I think its a bit orange but its okay the only problemo with the studio matte lip colours are that if you have dry lips the colour doesn't blend/sink in well so it looks a bit crusty that sounds disgusting but its the only way i can think to describe it!

So that is all of my elf tiny weeny haul I know it doesn't look like I have I have spent 15 pounds but I ordered it with my friend Lauren and she took her things so yeah that is it I will see you soon.

p.s please comment ect. below and I know at the top it says saturday in the day and it is now night it didn't take me all day to type I just didn't finish it till night because my friend came around! bye :)

Mini elf haul and review part one

So I did some shopping at eyes.lips.face (elf) finally after ages of 'browsing'. I didn't actually buy that much but the reason I am doing it in two parts is because I simply dont have time (and cant be bothered) to do it all at once and I havent done a post in a while so I thought I needed to do one.
I ordered it a while ago so I have slightly used some of the products so this is kind of a review as well!

I was a little dissapointed with the deleviery because it took a week to be despatched because lots of people had been ordering that jubilee weekend, I dont know but anyway once it had been dispatched it came the next day so that was quite good!

So the first thing I bought was one of the normal range (cheap range) lipsticks in the shade 'gypsy'. On the website it didnt look that pink but when it arrived I was like oh wow! Its actually so pink and bright its unbelievable but the thing is when I first got it I hated it but then I started to use it and I actually really like it because I dont have many bright lipsticks and its good for acasions or when you feel like being bold. Oh yeah and it was only 1.50 pounds (the pound sign still wont work sorry about that)

This is what it looks like swatch sorry about the bad lighting and my frekely hand as you can see its bright!

Another thing I bought was the tone correcting concealer in 'rosey beigh' because they were all out of ivory. Its not to dark which is good but it is a bit thin so it just kind of dissapears once its on the face.It was 1.50 pounds but I'm not sure what else I can say about this product other than sorry elf I'm not sure I would buy it again im afraid!
Because it was the queens jubilee there was an offer on elf that if you spent over 15 pound you get a free gift bag containing products worth 9 pounds! Elf is very good with offers and that kind of deals and stuff the over day there was a 35% off everything deal because of how many facebook likes they got and when it gets more there is going to be a 45% off deal SO GO LIKE IT NOW! anyway where was I oh yeah so this is one of the things i got free its a nail paint in the shade dark navy but basically its black you can see it on my nail holding the top thingy. I don think I would recommend this as a dark navy but if you are looking for a black GET IT its only 2.50 pounds and it stays on and me likey!
So that was part one of my mini elf haul I hope it has helped you if you were worrying weather to buy and of that stuff I know I haven't shown many products but I did go into quite a lot of detail and Im a slow typer so it took me longer than you would think!
I will be doing part two soon so yeah look out for that bye!

The Body Shop Face Mist Review

I was bought a Vitamin E face mist which is by The Body Shop. I am not to sure about it but here is a review.

I use this product when I am feeling tired because its really refreshing and wakes me up.It smells a bit like Turkish delight in a strange but nice way, and its really simple to use just spray it on your face and make sure your eyes are securely shut, it sounds like I'm being patronising but I opened my eyes to see why it wasn't spraying and then I pressed a bit harder and I sprayed it in my eyes and it stung for a while, (yeah that wasn't cool) but anyway it says on the front 'On-call moisture and vitamin E protection for all skin types'. Although very refreshing, when I spray it on my face it feels a bit like water and unlike normal moisturisers I couldn't feel it sinking in to my skin if that makes sense and my face just didn't have that just moisturised feeling (its a hard to explain feeling but i like the feeling).
To be totally honest I would rate this 6 out of 10 simply because it doesn't feel like it is moisturising deep into my skin even though it is refreshing I suppose I water spray would be refreshing to.

If you have any questions or anything like that please comment I am happy to help!

The shower gel with the smell

I have found the best smelling shower gel EVER. Okay bit of an exaggeration but I am actually not joking it smells so good I want to drink or eat it. The shower gel is called Pink Grapefruit and is by The Body Shop.

It says on the front that it is 'Zingy soap-free cleansing with pink grapefruit seed oil and community fare triad honey'. The fact that it is fair trade is great and the smell oh the smell. I know I am going on about the smell a lot but I used it whilst showering the other day and about 10 minutes later my mum came out the bathroom saying 'ohh something smells nice in there'! Also the smell stays on my skin, I don't know it would stay on anyone else's skin but it does mine. But (yes sadly there is a but)  to be honest I haven't noticed any difference in my skin or anything, but i never do with body washes or shower gels.

There is a little bit of information on the side or back not quite sure about how the product was made and where from and all that jazz which is nice because it nice to know its not made with a load of harsh chemicals and fruit extracts from people that have been unfairly paid.

Yeah so I recommend this shower gel mainly because of the smell but also because its just generally nice. next time your out and about in town or wherever shopping and that pop in to body shop and just give it a sniff and you will see what i mean by 'the smell'! I hope you have enjoyed reading this and please comment or ask any questions below!

My Makeup Bag

This is my everyday makeup bag. It contains the makeup I use on a daily basis.
In this post I will tell you a bit about the products and give a little review!

Makeup bag is by Eleanor's Attic (it says it on the front) and I got as a present from my Auntie!

This is the contents of my daily makeup bag. This makeup is mainly at a affordable price and i use it mostly for school so i look more natural

I don't wear foundation every day but if I do I use Dream Satin Liquid by Maybelline New York. I love this foundation its probably my favourite, its not to heavy on my skin and it doesn't make my face to oily or shiny. Also it matches my skin colour perfectly ( I have it in ivory). It's not to pricey as it's only 8 pounds (the pound sign does not work on my keyboard for some ridiculous reason). In my opinion this is a good buy and worth the money!

As you can see I like Maybelline! This is the Dream Matte Powder by Maybelline New York. I really like this pressed powder, I prefer to use pressed powder instead of foundation because I feel more fresh and less sticky (if that makes sense). Dream Matte Powder is really good because it takes the shine away instantly if you have oily skin and stays on for quite a long time also it blends well with skin.

These are my favourite brushes, both are from Eco Tools. Eco Tools brushes are great because they are so so soft and really good.I could just stroke my face with them all day! First of all there is the kabuki brush (on the right). The kabuki brush is good but not great as I would prefer it to be a bit more dense because it takes a while to actually get powder on the brush but it still gives good coverage. Secondly there is the blush brush (on the left). The blush brush is like the softest brush I have ever felt and is really good, I highly recommend it and I would buy it again and again! Eco tools are reasonably priced, the kabuki brush was about 10 pounds and the blush brush came in a pack with 4 other brushes and the pack was 10 pounds. However I have found out that on amazon and eBay they have brand new brushes that are really cheap. My friend got a pack of 5 including a kabuki brush for only 4 pounds!

Even though this is natural collection it is still a very effective and works well with different skin tones, it is not too dark so is subtle with my pale complexion, this is in the shade of Peach Melba. It costs around 1.99 and can be purchased from Boots.

I use 'Highbeam' as my highlighter. It is one of my few more high end products. It is good for highlighting the cheek bones, bridge of the nose and just above the cupids bow on the upper lip. This highlighter is very pink toned as opposed to 'Moonbeam' which is more cool toned; however this shade suits my skin tone more as I have pale and pinky skin.

This is my every day lipstick by MAC in syrup I got this as a present off my Auntie so I only have one mac lipstick at the moment as they are not the cheapest however mac lipsticks are very good and I would probably have many more if i could afford it! You can feel it moisturising your lips as you apply it and it smells very sweet like mini eggs!

This is one of my favourite eye shadows its is by No.7 and is in the shade tender. It's really nice and natural looking. It is a peachy pink colour with hints of gold. I could not find a link to this but it will most probably be in the Boots shops.

This is super liner perfect slim by L'Oreal it is like a liquid liner but like a pen however its not like your average eyeliner it performs a perfectly straight (if you have a steady hand) line on the the eyelid. I would definitely recommend this item as I have recommended to all off my friends.I again could not find the link but they definitely have it in the shops.(sorry)

These are the two mascaras I use.I use the colour lash by collection 2000 in brown because i am ginger so it looks less bold (if that makes sense) but, if I'm doing something and i want to look bold i use the voluminous x4 by L'Oreal. Voluminous x4 is good because it makes my lashes look longer and fuller however it is very wet so it can smudge easily around the eye if your not careful. Colour Lash is good because of the colour however it doesn't really do much else.

I use this brush to brush through my eyebrows and also through my eyelashes so if i used a clumpy mascara it brushes out the clumps and makes them look more natural! I think everyone should own of these doesn't matter where from mine was just in a old set but it still works fine!

This is a Tea Tree Spot Wand it is available at boots. It is double ended, one with clear spot treatment for the day time and one with misty treatment for the night time. This is reasonably new to me but so far it is working great. I recommend this product however i cannot find the link because boot is useless online!!

So that is the contents of my everyday make up bag so far i hope this was useful to you of what to use everyday. Please comment i like feedback.
